Roundhouse at Alyeska Museum and Gift Shop | Kenai Peninsula Tourism Marketing Council

The Roundhouse at Alyeska was built in 1960 and placed on the National Historic Register in 2003. It sits on an exposed ridge, 2,280 feet above sea level. Before the opening of the museum, the building served as a warming hut, gathering place, restaurant, lounge, ski patrol headquarters, and visitor center.
